The CEWR is a coalition of ratepayers formed specifically for the purpose of fighting the recently proposed massive rate increase by Canyon Lake Water Service Company (CLWSC). Say NO to a 71% increase!
The proposed water rate increase requested by CLWSC consists of a 71% rate hike comprised of two scheduled implementation dates. The first part of the increase (38%) went into effect on October 27th. The second half of the increase (33%) was scheduled to go into effect on March 15th. These increases would amount to $550 in the first year alone, and a whopping $2750 extra after 5-years!
